The visit of Mr Taliadoros to Lebanon is a historical visit on many levels: It is the first visit of this chanter to the Middle East, it is the first Byzantine/Syriac musical dialogue on this highest level, and it is the first musical creation resulting from the interaction of these two musical traditions.

Mr Taliadoros has the official title of First Chanter in the world from the Ecumenical Orthodox Patriarch of Constantinople.
